Update: missing second 2023 £300 Cost of Living Payment

The second 2023 £300 Cost of Living Payment should have been paid between 31 October and 19 November 2023.  The DWP claim that 99% had been paid by 7 November and that all the rest would be paid by 19 November.  But, at the deadline, we are still hearing from people who have not had theirs.

Details of who is eligible are available here.

If you still haven't received your payment, you can use this online form from 20 November 2023 to report it.

Previous cost of living payments

The DWP have published an online form to report missing Cost of Living payments from earlier this year.

The form covers:

The £150 Disability Cost of Living Payment paid between 20 June 2023 and 4 July 2023 for most eligible claimants.

The  £301 paid between 25 April 2023 and 17 May 2023 for most eligible claimants.

You can use the form to report either of these payments as missing, although if you want to report both as missing you will have to complete the form twice.

You will need your national insurance number in order to complete the form.

  • Personal Independence Payment
  • Attendance Allowance
  • Scottish Disability Benefits (Adult Disability Payment and Child Disability Payment)
  • Armed Forces Independence Payment
  • Constant Attendance Allowance

I never received my cost of living payment and after calling up my benefits office I was told that it had been paid into an account that I had previously given whilst my account was suspended just for 1 payment and then I had changed it back to my account and had received my benefits without any problems ,the person whom my  cost of living payment went into never realised anything and so I never received anything?

I haven't received mine either and I understand the stress everyone is under. I did get a message saying that the money will go in between 6th and 22nd. But only people who are getting benefits from HMRC will be getting there money from the 16th to the 22nd. So I gathered anyone who's getting means tested benefits from DWP will get it before the 16th. It would be nice to get it asap as I'm sure there are people out there that are struggling for cash.

@Musa Hi there I have been told I am not to receive the cost of living payment, I am on universal credit but my payment was 0 for the assessment period, I have money taken from my universal credit to go towards my rent and landlord and other deductions to pay back advance payments, so technically I still get universal credit can anyone help?

Still have not received my £299 yet the one's before I got it on the day. I've had no text to say it will be going in. I'm on income support. Getting worried like others. You can't contact them until after the 22nd to find out what is happening.

@Rachel capewell Rachel In some cases your work coach can tell you what date you will be paid if you log into your account and leave a message for them to call you r message you with a date I’m in the same situation as you I’m afraid you can’t do anything else apart from that until the 22nd when you can then report a missing payment

February the 10th and no 299 cost of living payment. I received the first one on day 2 and the second on day 2. Worried now seeing as 6.4 million people were paid already and only 900 thousand left to pay out. The payment is random and in 6 batches I was told, so I don't know what is going on but good luck to anyone really needing it like me and I hope you get is soon.

I’ve only had two payments in total  by cost of living which was on 27th of April and the 2nd of November both in 2023 I’m not really sure if I’ve missed out on any payments or not I haven’t had any new messages saying that they are going to pay me.

I received 2 COL payments… I usually get an incoming payment message alert in my monzo account and can request the money to be deposited early however I have not received any messages regarding the last upcoming payment on the 6th.

I was supposed to get paid JSA on the 1st of Feb however instead they randomly put my account under review said I’m entitled to £0 and will not pay me until they finish looking into my claim so are basically leaving me to starve while they do checks….I have no close family or friends and don’t understand why the checks include freezing my account.

As soon as I changed my claim to state that I was homeless they put the entitlement to £0 when I’m a venerable individual! I’ve worked my whole life and this is my first time being on benefits after loosing my job this is just truly disgusting.
