MM ESA to UC: Initial appointment, no response re reasonable adjustment

I used CAB Help to Claim, have completed all the To Do items & initiated my claim.

On Saturday 7 June I received notice in my journal of an in-person appointment at the local Job Centre which I cannot access for mobility reasons (there's no Blue Badge or indeed any parking).

I've replied on 8 June & again today requesting a reasonable adjustment to a telephone interview under the Equality Act 2010 and why (severe pain, lasting effects) as suggested elsewhere on your invaluable forum.

No-one has responded, the appointment is for tomorrow, and I'm struggling with anxiety that they'll sanction me.

Please advise, thank you.

Yes, Support Group with DIG & SDP.
I receive PIP (Standard DL, Enhanced Mobility) and live alone without a carer.
Sorry if this is a duplicate reply - I got a message about 'flooding' and was confused.

Hi ivyfox

As you are in the Support Group you cannot be sanctioned. So you can ignore the invitation to the Jobcentre. You are part of the DWP Enhanced Support Journey so they should send a Visiting Officer to your home address to gather any information.
You could phone Help to Claim and ask them to contact the DWP.

Let me know how you get on.

Hello David

Thank you for your helpful advice.
I called CAB Help to Claim, explained the situation, and they offered to make a 3-way call with the DWP and advocate for me. It only took 5 minutes to get through! The DWP agent said he'd inform my local Job Centre.

Later today, I checked my journal: two messages.
Firstly, can I email copy documents as itemised to local Job Centre - fair enough;
Secondly, 'they hope I'm soon better, a new appointment is booked for same location in a week's time'.

Please advise: how do I get them to understand I need a phone appointment, & to pin a note on my file as requested?

Hi ivyfox

What a shambles....
Do you know how to send Journal messages on your UC account?
