Yes, I believe that ATOS are still carrying out DLA Assessments in NI.

Although it is ATOS HealthCare, it is not the same people who do the ESA assessments, it should be a doctor and the assessment will be done using a form, the assessor will ask you questions about your general health, your conditions, your Care needs and your problems with walking.

Hi P,
It would seem logical that the medical would be pertaining to your care needs.
However, DLA is a single allowance with two components, Care & Mobility.
Therefore, I cannot state definitively whether or not the assessment would also take into account your Mobility limitations, and whether any observations and/or adverse comments would be made regarding said limitations which may or may not put your Mobility award at risk.
You could contact them to find out the actual purpose of the assessment.
