Hi P,
It would seem logical that the medical would be pertaining to your care needs.
However, DLA is a single allowance with two components, Care & Mobility.
Therefore, I cannot state definitively whether or not the assessment would also take into account your Mobility limitations, and whether any observations and/or adverse comments would be made regarding said limitations which may or may not put your Mobility award at risk.
You could contact them to find out the actual purpose of the assessment.

I had the dreaded EMP yesterday , I was in bed as my back and leg were really sore. The doctor did not say an awful lot,mostly writing and thumbing through forms and asking the odd question.
He did ask me to walk which I did in pain and told him so. He was here about an hour and then off he went.
Just so glad it's over as it really is so stressful. Now just have to wait and see, more stress
