Providing you are eligible for Income Related ESA in part or in whole then you would also be entitled to the Enhanced Disability Premium.

My husband has now finished work to care for me, and so we now have claimed our works pensions early to provide an small income coming in, apart from him claiming CA, and my benefits that is all we have coming in, that is why I was told I could possibly claim the extra disablement premium.
Thank you, I know i must sound really thick, but its just so confusing.

Hi SS,
No problem !!

In your case, CB ESA is awarded where the claimant (you) has enough NI Contribution (Stamps) from employment.
IR ESA is awarded to claimants who don't have enough NI Contributions from employment for entitlement to CB ESA.
Some ESA claimants who are also in receipt of other"qualifying benefit/s" may be entitled to : ESA Premiums (left click on blue words to open link)
In your case, the "qualifying benefit/s" would be HR Care DLA & ESA Support Group.
Having an "entitlement" to ESA Premiums due to receipt of one or more of the "qualifying benefits" does not necessarily mean that you will receive "payment" of the ESA Premiums.
This is because "ALL" ESA Premiums are paid as IR ESA, and can only be paid if you can pass The IR ESA means- test with respect to your capital assets savings household income and any hours worked by a partner.
You can receive IR ESA Premiums on top of your CB ESA payments if you can pass this means-test.
When you have an "entitlement" to ESA Premiums, the amount that the Government states that you need to live on, rises in comparison to a person who does not have an entitlement to the premiums.
This is the maximum (IR ESA) amount that you are entitled to.
From that maximum amount they will deduct £ for £ any of your income that is classed as household income for the means-test.
These deductions would include all household income, e.g. your CB ESA payments, your hubby's CA payments, and the works pension that you receive.
When all these incomes are added together and deducted from your maximum ESA entitlement, any shortfall between your household income, and your maximum ESA entitlement would be made up with IR ESA top-ups.
Have a read through this : Age UK IR ESA Factsheet
This is why if you feel that you have entitlement to payment of the IR ESA Premiums, you need to request an ESA 3 Form which will financially assess your entitlement.
As previously advised, it may also be best to obtain a "Benefit Check".
