Thank you and sorry for causing more work, not used to using this forum and thought I needed to post new question in new post.

No problem Pat. We just find it easier if everything is kept in one place :)

Hi Pat
Send your SAR request quickly tomorrow if you can, in my case the DWP did drag there feet. they were very slow to respond
As for WFI`s I phoned the JCA+ advisor, told her I was apealing and explained my condition
they did not contact me again and my appeal took approximately 4 months
The following user(s) said Thank You: Pat

Hi All, after a few nerve wracking weeks I have found out I have been put in the support group of ESA for next 18mths, no appeal to go through and no medical. Seemed sending in the appeal forms was enough for then to reconsider the decision and change...so so relieved.

One quick question I put in a SAR request and have had nothing back...is this because it is not going to appeal? Can I still ask for evidence even now in support group?

This website has been so helpful and like many others here I am so relieved for the next year or so.

Congratulations on the award.

Your SAR is totally independent of the Appeal process and even the Decision process, the DWP have 40 calendar days to respond, so if this has now elapsed you should first contact the DWP to find out what is going on and then if necessary contact the Information Commissioner to make a complaint.
