Yes, I have had problems with the RM tracking system. twice things have still shown as 'progressing through the system' on-line when they had actually been delivered!

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

1. Well here we are on Monday 12th August and I am still awaiting a response re my latest ESA renewal.
Should I contact them to see what is happening, or should I leave it a week or so longer - nails now down to the knuckles in waiting nerves!!! ?

2. I have checked with my GP Surgery and they have not been asked to complete a med 113 as yet, and they are aware that I have asked to be present if one arrives to be completed by the GP.
Good or bad !!! ?

3. Our GP Practice is now part of Virgin Care since Oct 2012 and is going thru a considerable changes. Firstly all our regular GP's - 3- are leaving Oct of this year and we will then only have locum cover of 5 GP's,looks common sense .
Other change includes the ordering process of prescriptions, now by only either a visit to the practice or online. The online version, a prescription form is issued and supplied on delivery of medication, however any morphine based meds have to be ordered as a special request and does not come with a prescription form printout when meds are delivered and signed for.
This will therefore not show up as an item regularly prescribed on a prescription printout, in which it seems that ATOS now likes to see being included as material data included as an ESA 50 addition.
How will one overcome such a problem if and when it arises !!?

Hi pcm,

1. You could contact ATOS :

Phone: 0800 2888 777 or 0113 230 9175

Email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

As I have stated a few times this afternoon, this is peak time for staff holidays.

2. No way to say, they seldom send out ESA113's anyway, and generally only when the are considering an SG award. That does not mean that you cannot gain an SG award without an ESA113. It depends on the evidence that you have submitted.

3. You should be able to obtain copies of any prescription certificates from your dispensing Pharmacy, or G.P. reception.

Update.
Contacted ATOS today to see what is happening re my latest ESA 50 which they received a month ago.
Was told 'it is with the doctors for assessment'. Still none the wiser and still no idea whether or not I shall remain in the SG or what? Time will tell I suppose.
