New ESA 50 01/13

Update.

Husband/carer has just rung to see what is happening with the re assessment of ESA50.
Bristol Branch.
Still in 'pile' to be looked at, has not got as far as a Dr or otherwise to look at it yet.
They are running a long way behind.

So here we are almost three months later with no idea what is happening.

Update.

Well over 3 months since I sent in the ESA50 within the time scale they gave me and still no answer to let me know where I stand.

So the paperwork sent will be well out of date as will be the contents from GP''s, Consultants, etc. and moreover state of health. No wonder many are angry and depressed with the whole situation whereby we stick to the rules, but ATOS/DWP can do as they please, as, when and how they feel like it.

Husband/Carer rang ATOS at Bristol this morning after the post had arrived.( just in case anything was in the post!!)
Still nothing hence the phone call, so he asked what was happening.
He was told 'Could take over 13 weeks so do not phone back til after mid November if you still have not heard from us'.
So we wait and wait and wait............................

Update.

As I have got so bored waiting for ATOS to actually either tell the truth and or look at my ESA50 which arrived at the Bristol office over 3 months ago I decided to contact my MP who is very good. He has decided that he needs to intervene as it is not acceptable to be left as long as I have been without being informed by ATOS where I stand.
We shall see where this leads and I shall keep you informed.
Could not believe this could be such a saga, must be costing all of us tax payers an absolute fortune way above what was being paid out under the old system as it was to all.

Update.

As you are aware I am still waiting to find out where I stand in regards to which group I am to be placed in this time round in the ESA saga.

I wrote to my MP and he contacted the Medical Services on my behalf. I had a response back from the Medical Services stating they did receive the duly filled out forms back on July 24th, however they have as yet not reviewed it via a HCP etc etc. A clear precise and taut letter to say the least.

I later this morning had an email from my MP, in which a section I have put below for all to read

'Something has gone very wrong with the whole system, and I am trying to sort things out centrally, so that that long delays no longer occur and people like you are not having to wait so long for a decision.'

and 'I shall keep you informed of what further I hear, but in the meantime, if you hear anything, perhaps you could let me know?'
