Ok thank you. I used to be very organised & filed everything on my PC, but I've deteriorated since the last review. I've had a quick look, but cant find anything. But recovering from yesterdays procedure & facing a contrast MRI re the suspicious cancer. So my brain fog is worse than normal.
I will leave looking for my last review for a few days, hopefully I'll be more with it.

Just to update the DWP ID visit was today, a very nice man who verfied both mine & my husbands, it took less than 15 mins. He said he was aware we had been waiting a while & was very stressed & would update Jobcentre Plus this afternoon, which he did. We recieved texts saying ID now proved & case manager will carry on calculating the esa to uc payment & would we like an advance, as payment not due till 9th August & wont know how much until the 4th August.
They also said any questions please ask. I had several questions, which were answered within 20 mins.

Hi tillyboo

I'm glad to hear that your home visit went well and your UC is sorted.

We had a support worker complete our online forms, in hindsight I wish we had pushed for a DWP home visit to do forms & ID at same time, but we've had so much going on with cancer trratments side effects etc it seemed easier for the support to do it online, the forms are easy, our problem was ID. It wouldnt go through online so a call was made which we both passed, but still the UC computor wanted more ID proof, hence the home visit this morning. I did involve our local MP & had the help of 3 welfare support workers. I have no idea if the payments will be the same as ESA, although UC journal messages have assured me they will be, but I wont know the amount until 4th August & 1st payments on the 9th. Been offered an advanced payment which as to be paid back.
As for the PIP review I was shocked & ended up crying in hospital yesterday, as its all got too much for me. My PIP i thought was due for review the end of the year, but I got my months mixed up, I thought PIP was up till Nov 2026, but it was March 2026.

So I'm just going to have to sort it somehow, though where I'll get my strength from I dont know. Mentally & physically exhausted.
I feel for you & hope all goes well for you.

Thank you. I think it was advice from here about contacting MP that helped & getting welfare support officers involved.
So thank you.
You mentioned about the PIP review guidelines, how do I access them? I know I paid for something on here, not sure what, brain fog again & it seems a life time ago

Hi tillyboo

The different can be found under the tab "Guides" at the top of this page. It's a drop-down menu. This is the link to the PIP guides. You want to have a look at the first one - PIP Guide to Claims and Reviews benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/pip

Hang in there. I know you've got a lot on your plate right now. Take your PIP form slowly and don't forget to ring and ask for an extension.
