UC Deadline Date, Medical Conditions and Evidence

Hi Alysa

Very few people are aware of exact dates. I would put down when you first started to experience symptoms. They won't be comparing what you might have said on an ESA form years ago, and even if they did it's easy to explain any discrepancies.

Hi Alysa

Keep pushing for the online ID check. You can report just as you have done here that you cannot attend or have people in your home. I assume that you won't get any payments until they have been able to confirm your ID

Replied by roadrunner on topic UC Deadline Date, Medical Conditions and Evidence
I have been through the UC migration process being in ESA support group. I was not asked about dates regarding medical conditions but simply to list them. I passed online verification with a passport and credit reference check. I answered all questions regarding verification sucessfully. I obtained my credit reference files beforehand for free because all they need is to match what is in your record. I would have failed it if I did not have them as there was an error in one of the files and I got asked a question on it and gave it as an answer when it appeared in the multiple choices in which I had to select one. Other than that, it is 99% straightforward if you know your life. They asked information from my passport, no image was needed. You can create your account and start your claim. The sections of the process appear in your to do list and you can just take your time and fill them in. They are saved until whenever you are ready again to continue. At the end when you complete all the sections, you get a summary of all the section answers and if you are not happy with what you did you can change it. When you press submit, that is what matters as your claim starts on that date. Verification, claimant commintment acceptance and any documents they ask for if you are a tenant with housing costs will be tasks in your to do list. Once its cleared you just wait and check your list every so often. The journal section logs all what you have done for the migration. You can always call citizens advice and they will support you all the way to your first payment. I gave them a call for advice at the summary stage and they were nice and supportive. Hope this helps.

Sorry if this isn't that helpful, but I am on irESA as well as PIP and am waiting for my UC managed migration notice, but have not heard anything yet.
I wonder how some are getting it earlier
Or are they doing it by area of the UK?

I am in East Sussex myself an have not heard anything about migration.

Hi cascade

It has been in the news that all migration should be completed by end of September, so you will hear in due course.
