I guess this has been asked before, but I seem unable to access past messages for some reason.
Currently I receive DLA and ESA (Work related activity group) and live in Bristol. If I move to Hertfordshire to look after my elderly mother would I likely have to make a new claim for either or both, or be reassessed etc.
I am concerned that in the past it has taken support and legal rights workers to successfully win my appeals. I always fear that my bundle of ailments might be judged borderline.
Moving house, even to another area, should not trigger a reassessment - unless it changes your circumstances in other ways. To take an extreme example, someone who has needed 24 hour attention and then moved to live on their own.
