I'm guessing the answer is yes, but I'll let other members respond.

I have had my PIP assessment today and the person asked me about going out. I explained that due to anxiety I don't go out on my own. I was then asked if someone checked the CCTV in my area would I be seen going out on my own.

I wouldn't worry about it, they try and approach each issue from several directions to see if what the claimant is telling them is consistent, they're not going to check the CCTV in your area, even if there actually is any.

Well we are still coming to terms with my wife assessment the other day.
Lasted 2 hours! and the questioning was relentless in such a way that she was basically 'directed' to the answers that they wanted. Although I was there as her 'representative' with documentations to help my wife answer the questions I was ignored repeatedly and I watched in total disbelief as they basically took her apart I couldn't do anything to help.
She was asked repeatedly 'Who diagnosed this and Who diagnosed that and what dates that happened. Very strange as they already have this information But they still interrogated her relentlessly. I'm sure the PIP form only requested 'recent' reports from doctors and hospitals and that they didn't want any 'appointments' included with the evidence. The HCP wanted everything there and then and just went onto the next question whilst I was trying to find the relevant information which id indexed for quick retrieval!.
Before this, because of her illness and having to go through 2 tribunals and 2 appeals ( all successful thanks to this site I may add!) to back up all the medical evidence they already have she is having counselling due to the stress and anxiety and suicidal thoughts this has caused! . I noticed that you wrote

You have said the exact same statement as my wife who is basically housebound without the help of another person BUT the HCP basically?? has said she can be independent so therefore we feel she has just lost her higher rate mobility. Time will tell?
