Thanks very much, bro58. I feel that I have a right to know why and if the reasons are truly sound. I somehow think they won't be as the way the whole claim and resulting reports and awards were actually handled have been shockingly bad. The tribunal panel was 5 people and I wonder if there was some disagreement or conflict?
I shall discuss with my rep as suggested. Many thanks for all of your help.
Best wishes

Hi TCP,
This seems to be verified in : This Post in the thread, and as you can see the same poster has gone on to cite UTT case law regarding this, namely :
2010 UKUT 183 AAC ,
2015 UKUT 267 AAC
&
2015 UKUT 155 AAC in : This Post
Of course, you can only use UTT Caselaw, if it is a "lookalike" case/scenario to your own.
See what your Rep thinks, but at the end of the day, it is your decision on whether to proceed or not.
Please keep us updated !

Thank you. Obviously the appeal won't go ahead now as I was basically warned that if I decided to proceed then I would lose all or part of my award. I thought that I was entitled to a fair hearing but they had already decided before I went in that they were going to do this. I wasn't offered a fair hearing to give my side of the story.
I shall talk to my representative and either way I shall request an explanation.
Thanks again

I have written the letter to the tribunals service and kept it brief and to the point. Now I will wait and see what they say.

I decided against proceeding further as it's all having a detrimental effect on my health. I can't face another appeal with the possibility that my award could be removed or part of it based on flawed HP and DM reports. I felt like I was fighting a losing battle.
Thanks for you help and advice.
