Recently had an ESA medical .I am deaf and the doctors foreign accent was so strong my interpreter struggled to understand her.My concern is that because I am in a wheelchair she focussed only on mobility and wouldnt listen when I told her that on a good day I can wheel myself a long way. There are many reasons I cannot work a real mix of physical and mental health problems.I wanted a full picture on the forms.I did get the support group as I wanted but I have been left worried that someone will see me out in my chair on my own and accuse me of lying.I tried several times to tell her how far I go even though it is painful and she just kept saying too far.I told my social worker what happened in the hopes it wont all come back on me but I am worried.

I would not worry too much, even if you were awarded ESA on the basis of your mobility, which it is not clear from your post has happened, ESA looks at both a claimants ability to walk and to self propel a wheelchair, so whether you are in or out of your chair it should not matter.
