A letter from your GP stating inability to attend 'trumps' this.

SSP is a perfect example.
Hope this makes sense as I have not been doing well explaining as of late.
Hi mj,
"A letter from your GP stating inability to attend 'trumps' this."
This is not correct, a letter from one's G.P. "may" "trump" this.
As Gordon has already stated the fact that you have been placed into the WRAG, and therefore have Limited Capability for Work, means that you are "unfit" for work, but deemed "fit" to take part in Work Related Activity.
Only if you are placed into The SG, and therefore assessed as having Limited Capability for Work Related Activity (WRA), i.e. "unfit" for work related activity, are you exempt from WRA.
Although WFI's can be deferred, carried out over the phone, or even in a claimant's home, these options are totally at the discretion of the adviser, and the claimant cannot insist on any of these options.
Work Focused Interviews Of course, as Gordon says, the DWP or any Works Programme Provider are supposed to take each individual's limitations/disabilities into account, and make any reasonable adjustments that are deemed necessary.
