No 4 point PIP descriptors results
Submission ID: 1165868 |

Nickname: Dingus |
Age: 25-30 |
Main health condition: Physical health |
Main conditions that affect daily living: Multiple sclerosis Chondrosarcoma (post surgery chronic pain after having 3 ribs and part of my sternum removed) |
Rate of PIP daily living component: Enhanced |
4 point descriptor score: No |
Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: Cautiously optimistic. Didn't have cancer before. Maybe 70% chance. |
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Can easily burn and cut myself without noticing because of nerve damage. Motor control can cause issues with dressing myself, washing, dental and bathroom hygiene. Require a lot of assistance from my partner when my symptoms are flaring. Vertigo can have me stuck in bed for days. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: If I don't score 4 points and I lose my enhanced daily living that would be all of my income lost. I moved in with my partner who works too many hours for me to qualify for employment benefits. PIP is the only thing that's mine. |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: Fatigue and unpredictable symptoms would soon have me maxing out any sick pay package and I'm sure I'd be in disciplinary action/improvement plans very quickly at any workplace. I wouldn't keep any job long. |
