Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I struggle with walking too far as my knees lock . I can't stand or sit for long periods of time. I have to have quick access to toilets due to IBS. I have aids to help me to get in & out of shower/bath and to help me wash. I also have aids to help me with preparing food. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I would lose all £290 as at the moment I only get Standard daily living..I didnt quailfy for mobility due to not enough points(although hoping review in Jan 26 will be more). This would have an impact on my stress levels as I rely on this income |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I have worked since age of 16 & had to give up 3 yrs ago due to being in too much pain & work place couldnt make adaptations. If I were to go back to work I would be in too much pain & would be off sick to much...I am 60 & my body cant work like it used to |
Anything else to tell us: I am also in the support group for ESA & the LCWRA group for Universal credit so am scared I'm also going to lose the disabilty compoment on UC...which will put me into poverty |
