Maybe to be looked after by his family, who are working over here and are supporting him?

I agree but his sister brought him over as their mother can no longer cope with his disabilities. Unfortunately she did this before seeking advice. As a sensory team we are obliged to give what advice we can.

What has he come to the UK for if he is unable to work or contribute in some way?

Hi John

The OP appears to be referring to a client, so I would assume his reasons for coming to the UK are confidential, and have no relevance to the question being asked.

Regards

Derek

Just wanted to know the reason, now I know.

Just wondered why if she has to sponsor him and he has no possibility to support himself why he came here to such an expensive place to live.

But obviously if he can claim DLA after 26 weeks here and she can get carers allowance for him all will be much better for him here and his family to look after him.

Good luck with his claim and I hope you get all the help you need.
