JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDED. was created by ruffles
Hi rember some time ago i told you what
a friend of mine from inside the system
told me how they were overworked and how
the back log was growing. Well today i
was told its reached melt down and it was
because of the illinformed at atos. And the
people who over see the appeal section had
reported that they were seeing so many that
should never had there benefit cut. They
said that the way it was going even if they
worked day and night they would still have
a back log and they were in a position where there own staff were going sick with
stress. They have told the dwp that if the
amount of people who were taken off benefit
happens as it will with atos that before
long some one will take them to the court
of human rights and these people will win
and it will cost millions .So when i said
that you should allways appeal do it as
was said to me you will win just to get rid
of you. best wishes ruffles :)

Now this is food for thought! How many of our members are in this position or have won their appeal at tribunal?
Well maybe all of us who are or have been affected should ask the UN Disability Committee to launch an inquiry (see link)

Excellent idea. Could B&W look into challenging the governments attitude and policy towards the sick and disabled using the Human Rights Act and the convention?
