My husband applied for PIP for Psoriatic Arthritis, severe Dyslexia and stage 3 Prostate cancer a few months ago. Sent loads of supporting evidence from hospital about his condition alongside a letter from work to say that he is only able to work two days and needs one to one support for written tasks/training, etc.
We received a call asking for him by name the other day. He was in bed as he struggles with side effects from his medication and having a bad day. I said he wasn’t well at the moment, could I help and the caller explained that she was a Capita nurse and would try in the afternoon. A week has passed and no one has called back. Can’t get through to PIP helpline. Any idea what this might mean.

It’s now almost 4 weeks, so I rang PIP advice line. They say his file is still with CAPITA and no other notes. Not sure what to do now.
