Hi Spud
If you're worried, you could ring the DWP to ask what's happening. However, if you're still receiving your money, you could decide just to wait until you hear from them. Some members with ten-year awards have reported receiving review forms some months after the ten-year deadline.

My last PIP award was for 6 years and they said they would give me a longer one, but have given me six years again. I am getting enhanced mobility and daily living. Should I challenge it or accept what I have been given and be grateful? Kind regards, Isobel

Hi Sobel
I can't tell you what to do here. I know one of our members last year appealed and managed to get their award upped to a ten-year one. They are more reluctant to hand out 10-year awards. Some people worry that it might affect their award and make them change their mind, but I think that is unlikely. If you choose to challenge the award length, tell them that, while you are very satisfied with the award and are not asking them to revisit it, you would like them to reconsider the length. And then tell them why you believe it should be longer.
