Job coach pushing ? was created by george
Hi all , ive recently had a review for pip after last one 6 years ago and it was awarded again daily ,living , i also a few week ,after the pip form had to apply for universal credit so as you can imagine im so so tired after all the filling in of forms sending off medical evidence ! Ive had two phone call appointments with a new job centre coach and the last one she was saying at the end if the call they would get the ball rolling if i wanted to apply to go into the support group , the last ciach when i was on esa also mentioned this but you know i m not up to doing anymore form filling or the stress of all that entails at this moment in time . Ive received a different time letter and work coach from my original one , it was a lady now its a man which i dont feel comfirtable with if 8m honest anyway , if this guy is pushing again about applying for support group do i just repeat myself for the 3rd time at least, of im not up to applying at the moment ?

Hi george

You say you were previously on ESA so when did you last get an ESA payment? Also were you in the ESA Support Group or WRAG ?

Hi george

I would take what the Work Coach says with the proverbial pinch of salt as they don't have any training about how to get a claimant through a WCA. In fact their performance is rated by the movement of claimants off Benefits and into work.
As you are currently in the WRAG group you will have occasional meetings with a Work Coach regarding Work Preparation.
Here are some examples of what Work Preparation means:-
Work Preparation requirements include:  attending a skills assessment  preparing a CV  improving personal presentation  participating in an employment programme  developing a business plan  researching childcare costs and provision.

The job coach has turned off ( committment form has i
do not have to prepare for work look for work and do not have to be available for work ) the above . I have my next one in may so will see what this new one is like , its so stressful having different ones when you are discussing your life in detail with strangers and then have to do ot all over again from scratch .
