Pip review was created by Shane
I was sent my Award Review form on the 5th October 2024. Which I filled in and returned,
I received notification by text that the DWP had received my completed form, I have been receiving my State Pension since September 2025, and I have not hear back from the DWP in regards my PIP Award Review since November 2024, almost 18 months, I would really appreciate some good advice, and your expert opinion.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Shane
That is a very long time. I can't tell you why it is so long. Yours isn't the longest time someone has been waiting, but it's not far off. I assume that you have continued to be paid your PIP or you would have said something.
If you're still receiving your money, you could just sit it out and wait to hear from them, but you might want to ring the DWP and ask them when you might expect to hear. (I can understand if you don't want to make that call - but it's the only way to find out the reason for the delay).

Hi Bis
Thank you, yes I’m still receiving my PIP, and my wife is still receiving the carer amount, obviously you can understand I wouldn’t want to phone the DWP, it’s never been a good experience haven’t to deal with them over the phone,
As I mentioned since the review letter I’m now collecting my state pension, who knows.
