Hi, can you tell me how long I'm allowed to ask for with regards to a PIP review please?

I've only just got the form, I'm dealing with UC and I'm also moving into a property that's being made suitable to move into, so I've a lot going on.

I also, am applying for copies of scans I had done and I've just found out that can take 30 days.

Is there a maximum amount of time I can put this PIP review off?

If you already have your form, you can ask for an extension - and they will generally offer two weeks (occasionally a month). Many people get a second extension, but it isn't a right. I have known a few people who have got a third extension, but that is rare. The DWP is not obliged to offer you more than one. They are unlikely to offer you an extension from the start that is several months, but there is nothing to stop you from asking.
