Hi, managed migreted to uc with a phone claim.

now telling me to ring uc once a week.

is this correct, if your in the support group.

how is this any different to having an ankle tag.

Hi Colin

I'm afraid - I can't tell you whether this is correct. You need to ask the DWP, why you need to ring every week. If you had done an online claim, you would have been told to check your online journal weekly. This instruction is given to everyone, even those in the support group.
