Migration from ESA to UC asked to talk to work coach

I have recently migrated from ESA in the support group to UC

they split my payments into UC and Contribution based ESA so I hget paid some by UC and some by ESA still.

I received a letter today asking me to talk to my work coach to prepare for work in the future.

I would like advice in how to deal with this as it is clearly wrong.

Hi celia239

As you were in the support group of ESA, when you migrated over to UC you should have been placed in the LCWRA group. We would advise you to seek advice from your local Welfare Rights Organisation, they will be able to check everything is correct as mistakes do happen.

From your post I would say that you were in receipt of CB ESA + IR ESA, your CB ESA will move to NS ESA and your IR ESA which is means tested will be replaced by UC which is also means tested.

I had the same situation and received the same letter. I queried it in my journal as I thought it was a mistake. I was told it wasn't a mistake and that it was due to the migration to UC. However, this was 6 months ago and I haven't heard anything about it since then.
