Esa to Uc not asked for interview?? was created by mumsy
Hi, I made the UC claim online on the 22nd May. I was in support group for ESA and have been for 15 years. I passed the ID check online and there is a journal entry to say it is completed. Had an email asking me to sign in online, go to my to do list and accept my commitments. Which I did. In my journal there is an entry that says " accept your commitments completed" I also had a message about my housing status with a form, done and on the journal. My commitment was just a basic "I'll sign into my account often to :complete all activities in my to-do list and report changes to my circumstances promptly, including changes to work" That was it! Can anyone tell me if that is all there is to it?? The work plan states "I am not required to look for or apply for jobs at this time. I will be told if this changes" and it was basically the same under activities. My concern is, I have had no journal entry nor letter/text/email about a face to face or telephone interview, does this happen?? I am so worried that I will wake the day they have said that I will find out how much I will get and there will be nothing there because I didn't have an interview. I did have a lovely passive aggressive entry about having a "chat" to identify how they can help me develop skills, build my confidence, talk about the things that matter to me... all voluntary and if I was interested to reply and they would arrange to contact me. I didn't. Like so many here, this is so alien I'm petrified I have done something wrong or missed something

Hi mumsy
By the sound of things you have done everything correctly, always keep an eye on your "to do list" this tab is where you are asked to carry out tasks, most claimants who get sanctioned is because they have failed to carry out instructions on their to do list.
If you need reassurance write a message on your journal , you can also contact the UC helpline.
