UC and pension pot was created by onestep

Hi I'm currently claiming UC and I'm turning 55 soon. I have a very small pension maturing around £5500 soon and was wandering if this will affect my UC? (The money will al get eaten up as soon as it hits my account on various debts).

Hi onestep

You will need to add the £5500 to your current savings. Will the total exceed £6000 ?

no that would not take me over 5500. would i need to let anyone know i.e in my journal or just let it happen without saying anything?
