Sorry yet again I have another question.

Regarding ID from the list we can provide current passports & cedit card agreements, which I thought was enough.

But just been told, the passports ok but if you use credit card agreement you're then asked several questions about your credit files ie dates of when mobiles were taken out etc no idea & my husband as a top up phone.
And that ID proof isnt uploaded, if its a credit card agreement its questions.

How can they expect a 62 & 71 year old to remember dates. I've had my mobile phone & Barclaycard years no idea & my husbands the same ( except he doesnt have a mobile phone contract).

Help to Claim never mentioned any of this or have I been given incorrect information?

Hi tillyboo

All you can do is follow the steps as I have just done with 3 clients ( my other job ).
If the ID check fails you just get a message " We will phone you ". I would not worry.

Hi David,
Thanks for reply.
UC rung this morn to remind me of deadline & I just broke down crying, as my husband was just being taken to the Marsden. The man on the UC line said I sounded very distressed & would suggested an extention till the 19/07/25.
I will get this claim in before as I just want it done. Its just getting the help to do it. I'm in such stressed situation, as I cant guarantee my husband being home, hes either at the Marsden or sleeping here. So its down to me to do this & I'm not well.
So hopefully I get help & my husbands home, but he doesnt know what day of the week it is, what they expect him to do or answer, I would have to prompt him & I suffer with brain fog.
I just hope I can get this sorted asap & out the way.
But the misinformation re ID I rung the help to claim before UC called to ask if my husbands expired driving license ( expired 2024) or birth cert along with his current passport would be ok & they said yes.
And current passport & birth cert for me & they said yes. I actually have a case number with them.
When I mentioned this to the UC man he said no, but then his phone cut off.
This is whats confusing me so much
