IR ESA WRAG GROUP TO UC was created by scatter121
Hi

Ive not yet received a migration form but wanted to as the following.

Im in the WRAG group IR ESA with HB at the moment but got full enhanced PIP for both.

My conditions ( in my opinion) should put me the Support group ESA, not the wrag, which ive been in for several years.

What i want to ask, is it worth contacting ESA now to ask if i can be put in support group before i get a migration letter.

Will this trigger a forced migration as a change of circs in ESA.

Many thx

Hi scatter121

That is a possibility. How confident are you that you have the medical written evidence that supports the descriptors of the Support Group ?

Hi scatter121

If you have good supporting medical evidence that your condition has got worse then it is worth applying. If successful your payment will be backdated and your Transitional Protection amended as I expect Migration will happen first.
