How do you explain good/bad days? was created by MummyBear
I applied for pip and was awarded 8 points for daily living, 0 for mobility. I disagreed, especially as the report was full of false statements. I received my MR notice and unsurprisingly they haven't changed their decision so I'm going to go ahead and appeal.

I've read through the very useful information on here regarding appeals, my concern is my health conditions fluctuate, and I'm also in the process of waiting for a diagnosis so I'm unsure how to explain this. I have a brain MRI scan next month and the GP has said it's likely I have fibromyalgia if it comes back ok. I also have other health conditions, Autism, migraines with aura, plus more. The fibromyalgia is a recent thing and I have had new symptoms start since I first applied. Do I just add this extra info during my appeal application? I don't have any evidence yet apart from a brief explanation on my medical record from a recent GP appointment.

Thanks in advance.

Hi MummyBear

You should not use grey words such as good days and bad days, Whenever I complete these forms I use bad days and worse days, I find most clients with fibromyalgia struggle every day, some days worse than others.

Remember PIP is not about your condition but about how your condition affects you. You need to paint a picture in words about how your condition affects you each day.
