So glad to hear that your sister's appointment went well. That must be a relief to both of you. Didn't the issue of housing benefit come up when you filled in the original form- because a friend of mine confirmed with them that she wanted her rent sent directly to her landlord? I can't tell you what you should do - but I would ring the helpline and ask.

No the issue didn’t come up. We did the form over the phone my sister was just asked if she received housing benefit which she confirmed. I asked at the job centre but he couldn’t give any information on that. My sisters esa has stopped now I presume that’s because we started her claim on 12/05/2025 and that’s the 2 wks ago. She was suppose to collect it today but it wasn’t in her bank so I’m guessing she now has 3 wks with any benefit til the 18th June when she gets her 1st UC payment. I will give them a ring to check on the housing benefit. Thanks for all your replies.
