My friend got their migration letter and submitted their claim in march and verified their identity on 1st april. The dwp advisor who did their ID check said uc would contact esa and then gave them what day they would get the 1st uc payment.
They have recieved the 2 week run on of ESA but they haven't received confimation that they are no longer in receipt of ESA but they found out today that UC haven't notified Esa of their migration yet and they are worried they could recieve an overpayment of Esa that they should be entitled to.
They aren't sure what to do, as when they phoned ESA they were told there were no notes from UC on their system. Looks like UC have messed up their migration.
They are best advised to send a UC Journal message explaining the circumstances. Send the same message twice, firstly to A Payment so the recipient is the Case Manager and secondly to the Work Coach.
