Hi DC

Please don't give up and if you need help from services because you're on the edge - please contact them.

I wish I had a suggestion for what you should do next, but the only thing I would do is get onto your MP and tell them what is happening. Some are helpful and can intervene to at least get someone to talk to you.

Thanks, for everything you do, im not trying to fidle the sytem i am doing everything right but their systems donot talk to eachother. i am happy for you to display my message to other subscribers. people NEED to know. UC was brought in to simplify the system. i am now on UC, ESA (suddenly contributions based) after 10 years on means tested & also on PIP. So have to try and get through to them all. 3 different letters it would be far easier and easier for everyone if they had a computer system that could talk to eachother. They just dont stop the harrassment. keep the good work up guys.. lots of deserving people would lose their benefits without your guidance and suggestions

thanks

Hi DC,

Honestly - I feel your emotions by your words so much, and I'm sure many more do also! It can be really challenging, soul-destroying and make you feel like you're banging your head off a brick wall at times - but BIS is correct - keep fighting and don't give up. Remember, as a single person, we are only but 1 brick, but together, we can build a house, because we are many bricks. Your house being your safe zone. The letter scenario is just pathetic in deed, but take a deep breath, call the office, tell them you've just received it on 15th and you want a further adjustment, including the Easter period to be able to reply back. I think 3 weeks sounds fair.

I hope things turn around for you! Keep fighting like the marvel comics - Goooooo DC!!!!

Can anyone provide an address to send my documents. it will be sent recorded delivery, the only thing i can find online has 2 different addresses, depending if its sent by free post, or recorded mail. with 2 completely different address. they are impossible to deal with.

i quote "The Universal Credit Full Service Centre's postal addresses are: UCFS Post, Canterbury BC, Nutwood House, Chaucer Road, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 1ZZ for signed delivery and recorded delivery, and Freepost DWP UNIVERSAL CREDIT FULL SERVICE for all other post. You can also contact them by phone at 0800 328 5644. "

Hi DC,

The only information I can find to help you is the following:

The phone number **0800 324 5644** is the **Universal Credit helpline** for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

**There isn't a single, specific contact address directly associated with this particular phone number.**

For general postal correspondence with the DWP, you can use the following address:

**c/o Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)**
**Caxton House**
**Tothill Street**
**Westminster**
**London**
**SW1H 9NA**

**However, please note:**

* **This is a general correspondence address.** If you are contacting them about a specific benefit or issue, the address provided on your benefit letters is likely the most appropriate one to use.
* The DWP is modernizing how it receives and processes post, and specific benefit offices may have different postal addresses. **Always check your benefit letters for the correct address.**
* For many Universal Credit queries, **using your online account is the fastest way to get in touch.** You can sign in to your account on the GOV.UK website.

Therefore, while the phone number is for the Universal Credit helpline, there isn't a direct contact address for that specific number. Use the general DWP address above or, preferably, the address provided on your benefit correspondence.
