Can anyone tell me how long to leave it before the deadline given the in the Universal Credit letter? So if the letter date was the 28th May, what is the longest I can leave it before applying? This may have been answered elsehwere but I can't find it now.
We can't answer that—it is a personal choice. Other members might tell you of their experience. Personally, I would do it at least 10 days before the deadline in case something goes wrong.
