Strange uprating letter was created by Chrystal
Hi there ,

I receive contributions based esa in the support group
Today I have received the uprating letter , However , it literally just says your new rate is 140.55
You have been sent this letter due to a change in rates of social
Security benefits .
No where does it mention a break down of the payments or the fact I am contribution based
Iit usually always says I am contributions based , the breakdown and the new rate
With all the change's going on and migration to universal credit if your on income related esa it gives me anxiety , I’m worried that this letter doesn’t say I’m on contribution based when all
My other letters over the years say I am contributions based. Has anyone else on contributions based had the uprating letter , and it literally just says the amount and. Nothing else ? Thanks in advance

Hi Chrystal,

Post approved for any of our claimants to read, who may be able to answer.
My only thoughts are that maybe they've updated the system, and forgotten to include certain aspects of data in the program, so that when the letters are printed in bulk, the system doesn't know to add this additional information on.

Chris.
