Hello, my friend receives Universal Credit and the Daily Living Component of PIP. She lives alone (apart from 2 young children). Someone was claiming Carers Allowance for her but they can no longer do that. If she can't find anyone to claim CA for her, is there another payment she might be able to get? I know that Severe Disability Premium can be claimed if you're on ESA but not with UC. Does this mean that she will lose the £81 a week? Is there an alternative benefit she might claim? Thank you.
