Hello, please can someone tell me if it is normal to have to fill a pip review form that includes the same questions asked, plus more, that were on the original application for pip? The review form I have received six months early is a nightmare, it's as if I'm having to re-apply all over again. I'm finding it incredibly stressful and I also don't have long to fill it out. Thanks
The review form has recently been updated, so they do feel longer than the original forms.
If you are struggling to meet the deadline you should ring the DWP before the deadline date and request an extension. They will automatically give you a two week extension. If you struggle to meet the second date - ring again (before the deadline) and they will advise you what to do next. Sometimes they offer a further extension and sometimes they tell you to send the form in on time even if it is not complete.
Review forms are usually sent out up to a year before the end date of an award. This is done to try and ensure people don't suddenly find themselves without money.
