Getting ID for managed migration was created by Mother
My son has been on irESA & PIP since 2014 when he was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder with psychotic episodes. He continues to be very unwell. The migration letter to UC arrived just before Christmas so we are now up against the clock. He attends a depot clinic once a month and also sees his own CPN once a month. He no longer has photo ID as driving or travel abroad is impossible. We started to complete a PASS card application hoping that his nurse would agree to be a referee. She is unwilling to provide a work email address. Will this be a problem in getting the PASS card? What other route do you suggest?

Hi Mother

In the past a Passcard has not been accepted as ID by the DWP.
As you are unlikely to be able to do an online ID verification the best option is to request a Biographical Test. This can be conducted over the phone. Your son will be asked 3 questions relating to his previous Benefit claims. It would be a good idea if you were with your son at the time of the call as the questions can be confusing. If you prefer you could do this Biographical Test face to face in the Jobcentre with a Work Coach.

Let me know how you get on.
