Hi B&W, Having submitted my Appeal, I put the friend I am living with (I am otherwise homeless), as my Representative; as he sees my symptoms, and helps me most days. However I've since read it is unwise to use the Representaive to also give evidence on the day...which leaves me worried I chose to state he will represent me. I have no other support, having had to relocate, and haven't yet had success finding another Representative. My question, please, is; If I remove my friend as my Representative...can I still state his low availability for Tribunal purposes? There was a calendar to fill in for the role of Rep, but I don't know how to inform anyone of his busy schedule, re.giving evidence (which he is happy to do, but just works full time and can't specific/last minute book time off for the Tribunal. Is there any official Tribunal helpline for such queries? I feel too overwhelmed at this stage to manage all this..even the basics now. Thank you Best Wishes, P
I'm afraid your question is outside the remit of this forum. You need to contact your local Tribunals Service because they won't all operate in the same way. Explain your situation and the difficulty with your friend's schedule and your need to have him with you. This must happen a lot, and they will tell you what to do. I know it is overwhelming, but I'm sure it will be worth making that one phonecall.
I wish you the best of luck
