ESA to UC migraiton commtiemnt phone call

Hi My son has been on I belive income related ESA since around 2015 , and also PIP, since that time his health hasn't improved any, has got much worse.

We received the m,migration letter, completed the online parts and managed with difficultly to get him to the id check at the jobcentre, that was done briefly. He now has a commitment telephone call to take. The stress of the last part was too much for him and still trying to settle frpm that, so a bit concerned about the call, it;' a struggle for us to notice these online notifications in time when they are so short notice compared to the letters that used to be sent.

Anyway he is in the work related group, even though it probably should have been support, and was told at the job centre he wouldn't; have to go there again given the group he was in, We are wondering what kind of questions to expect on the commitment call or if it will be in some ways like an assessment? Are there quaestions on how he lives daily etc?

Thank you, I take it another assessment would be something we should discuss on the call?

If we request the UC50 for another assessment, would that affect his current benefit while that is pending? thanks
