Worries about being forced into WRA through UC migration was created by Lucky22
I have a friend who has received his universal credit migration form.
He is currently receiving the ESA WRA group amount. Although he was put in the WRA group, he is bed-bound with a pain condition at worst and not capable of doing it. He did not at the time challenge the WRA group decision due to being aware the assessment process is hostile/unfair, and he therefore feared he could be passed 'fit for work' rather than put in the support group. He has been left alone and not made to do the WRA for a number of years.
He is concerned that it will be different on Universal Credit and he will be forced into WRA. Is this likely to be the case? And if so, can he ask to be reassessed and apply for the support group?
He is also worried if he will receive his full rent amount on Universal Credit. He currently does as he is a council house tenant. He is also worried about if his other daily living amount will go down.
Many thanks indeed for any replies.

Hi Lucky22
We cannot answer your post as we do not have enough information such as when was your friend placed in the WRA group, was it before April 2017? We would advise your friend to seek advice from their local Welfare Rights Organisation.
Remember ESA is an indefinite award so the Decision Letters do not have an award length, you can find out when your friend will be reassessed by contacting the DWP, the date should be on their computer record.
When you apply for UC you will have to see a work coach before your claim goes live and sign a claimant commitment, as your friend is in receipt of WRAG they should automatically be placed in the LCW group and will at some stage be sent a new WCA form to complete. Ideally your friend will want to get a copy of their previous assessors report called an ESA 85, you will then get an idea as to how the assessor has assessed the form.
