Advice re. benefit move was created by QWERTY
Hi

I have been sent a letter that my PIP is moving automatically to Adult Disability Payment.
The leaflet says if another benefit /service related to your disability payment is received, you'll need to contact each provider to tell them that PIP moved. I also receive ESA (IB).

I'm not sure if I'm reading this properly - does this mean I should contact DWP to report this change to the benefit ?

Please can you advise me if I should contact the DWP now or after PIP moves?

Thanks.

Hi QWERTY

You should not report the move until you have moved, once you have moved I would then contact DWP and inform them that you have moved from PIP to ADP, unless there has been a change in your award then your ESA should stay the same.

For clarity I would also contact your local Welfare Rights Organisation to check you are receiving all your benefit entitlements.
