Student loans and universal credit was created by Mystery1997
In 2017 I had attended University whilst in receipt of PIP and Universal Credit, and had taken out some loans.

I didn't declare my attendance back then as I didn't know they you had to.

Because of my mental health issues I barely went to class and eventually dropped out in October/November.

My attendance was so poor that I counted as not attending the university at all, and had to repay back any maintenance loan given to me. The University also paid back the tuition fee they recieved for that single semester.

I currently owe Student Finance around £4,000.

Do I need to make repayments back to universal credit as it was basically as if I hadn't attended at all? I'm much more responsible and everything else now so will disclose any future attendance.

Hi Mystery1997

I'm sorry, but your question is outside the scope of this forum and we can't answer your question. I would try and find a specialist benefits adviser in your local area who could tell you.
