The date for my employment support allowance appeal has come through, 24th December, Christmas eve!
I have plans to be visiting relatives over Christmas with my wife and will be several hundred miles away from the court the appeal is being held in on Christmas Eve and until the new year.
My question can I ask for the date to be changed? Ether to before 20th December or after 3rd January 2014?
You need to contact the Tribunal Service as soon as possible and ask for a postponement, hopefully given the time of the year, they will agree, but if they do not, then you may need to re-consider your plans.
