Hello, I claimed DLA for my mum in January this year, she was refused in February, we appealed in March and today was the appeal. Unfortunately we lost it. The doctor & lawyer were very harsh to my mum she was practically in tears. They didn't want to see the evidence from the local council after my mum got a blue badge after assessment. The lady from CAB was lovely and help us so much. They even question and warned me and said I can be prosecuted for giving false information on the form as I mis judged the time it takes to walk 20 metres. I only found your guides after I had applied but will be using your guides for applying for PIP's for my mum.
