PIP Medical.. was created by Gazza69696969
Afternoon all, I have just had my PIP medical date through and I am confused. I suffer from Complex Combat PTSD and HATE people I hate going out of my house it gives me extreme anxiety, I put all this on the form or should I say my wife did...However they still have made me an appointment somewhere other than my home. We called them and explained to them but they were not really helpful and said they would get back to me. As I have had so many issues with DWP and ATOSers I just thought I would ask the question is there a ruling about home visits. I have always had home visits from ATOSers in regards my war pension but I think they do that as a rule. Just need some ammunition if they say no I cannot have a home visit. Thank you in advance

Hi g6969,

I assume that your PIP assessment is to be carried out by ATOS. If so, you can contact them regarding a home assessment under:

"Contact Us PIP Customer Service:" on the right of this page :

www.atoshealthcare.com/pip/

You may be best doing this by e-mail so that you have a paper trail.

They may require you to provide a letter of support from your G.P. regarding your need for a home assessment.

Capita seem to be much better at providing home assessments, and nearly all our members that have had PIP assessments carried out by Capita have had home assessments.
