Hi robm,
As this is your first post I will assume that you are new to the forum and link to the FAQ that tells you where to find things on the site.
Welcome to Benefits and Work
It is impossible for us to predict whether or not you will be put into the Support Group this time round. The best thing you can do is decide which descriptors you think apply to you and then make full use of the ESA guides as you fill in the form.
Qualifying for the WRAG

ESA claims and appeals
If you wish you can use the PDF version of the ESA50 form, you will need to save this to your computer before you can fill it in
Using The PDF Version Of The ESA50 Questionnaire
The rest of our ESA FAQs are here

I suggest that you bookmark this topic, or make it a favourite on your web browser, so that you can find it easily in future. Then you can come back here to ask further questions and we will have the benefit of keeping everything in one place

Hi rm,
If at all possible, ask your G.P. whether they can draw direct reference to the particular descriptors that they feel that you qualify under due to the limitations suffered as a result of your medical condition.
Further, if the G.P. is to provide a letter of support, if they simply state that you are "unfit for work", (have Limited Capability for Work.(LCW)) this only helps to get you into The WRAG.
As an aid to gain access to The SG, it would help further if they stated that you were also "unfit for work related activity" (have Limited Capability for Work Related Activity. (LCWRA) )
Work Related Activity includes such things as WFI's, Training Courses, Work Placements, etc, etc.
You may have to take part in WFI's/WRA if you are placed into the WRAG.
If you are placed into The SG, the above is totally voluntary.
