In my decision letter it stated that i was entitled to BOTH contribution-based ESA and income-related ESA.
Is this normal and what does that mean.
There is nothing unusual about a claimant receiving Income and Contribution Based ESA, your ESA(CB) will be the first £106, or there about that is paid, and the remaining amount will be your ESA(IR).
As you are already receiving ESA(IR) you do not need to worry about the time limit for ESA(CB) as your payments will continue at the same amount.
ESA(IR) gives you access to a range of other benefits such as free prescriptions and dental health care, you should also check to see whether you are eligible for Housing Benefit.
