I got paid the same amount this week and the paper assessment was carried out around 9 September so I hope that they would have changed the amount this week if the SG award was being changed to a WRAG one.

I just wondered if this is it or if I can expect anymore correspondence from the DWP regarding my ESA? I have never actually wanted a letter from them before so this is a novel experience lol.

Hi mcw,

Yes, you should receive a letter with a breakdown of how your ESA payments are made up.

It may also state whether your ESA is CB ESA, IR ESA or a combination of both.

You can request a payments breakdown letter if you don't receive one.

If you do get one before the end of November, don't be alarmed if the payment dates on it only go to the end of November, this is for DWP admin, and tied in with payment of The Xmas Bonus.

Any such letter received after that time will probably give a payment date up to the beginning of April 2014, again for admin, and tied in with the annual uprating of benefits.

Hi

I received said payment breakdown letter on Saturday, dated the same day as the ESA72 (October 1st) and it said support group etc etc so I hope I can take it I have been put back into the SG for two years. Very pleased and relieved.
